The Interoperable Device Interface Specifications (IDIS) Industry Association is a non-profit, association established to maintain and promote publicly available technical interoperability specifications based on open standards and supports their implementation in interoperable products. IDIS is an association for smart metering companies which are committed to providing interoperable products based on open standards. The Final Interoperability Test for devices according to IDIS package 1 can now be performed at DNV-GL (former Kema). See the Press releases section.
Upon request of an organisation representing a ”country specific” market (CS-org), the IDIS organisation may support the elaboration of ”country specific extensions” (CSE) to the existing IDIS specifications considering the use cases of the specific market.
